Coupon Term Abbreviations

So texting for some people is tough just because there are so many abbreviations that can leave you feeling like you stepped into a different realm from LOL, BTW, OMG, TTYL, the list goes ON and ON and ON for text lingo. I'm sure many of you have seen Coupon Lingo and have thrown your hands in the air, waved them like you just didn't care and just sat there blinking at them.
 
It's OK!
 
I've got you covered. Here's a couple of abbreviations that will help with your couponing. You will often times see these on other couponing sites and blogs, but now when you go back to them you'll be able to translate them more!

B1G1 (BOGO): Buy One Get One
B1G1F (BOGOF): Buy One Get One Free
CAT: CATALINA coupons - which print after your transaction in a store.
CPN: Coupon
DND: Do Not Double - some stores double a coupons value. When this is displayed on the coupon what you see is what you get regarding coupon price savings.
ECB (EB): Extra Care Bucks - this is printed at CVS and is money back towards another item IN CVS.
FAR: Free After Rebate - some items offer rebates that will make it free.
EXP: Expires or Expiration
MFR: Manufacturer's Coupon
IP: Internet Printable Coupon
MIR: Mail In Rebate
OOP: Out of Pocket
Q: Coupon (WHY "Q"? - some people pronounce coupon "Q-Pon" others "Coo-pon").
RC: Rain Check - if an item runs out at a store you may request rainchecks to get the item at the same price when it becomes available in stock again.
RR: Register Rewards (this is printed at Walgreens and is money back towards another item IN Walgreens.)
WYB: When You Buy
